The Society is a member of The Arts Society which was founded in 1968 as the National Association of Decorative and Fine Arts Societies. Sevenoaks became the 41st Society to be registered in 1972 and today we have an enthusiastic membership and maintain an active and friendly Society. We organize lectures, outings and study days for our members and provide a focus locally for people to share and enjoy an interest in the arts.

The Arts Society Sevenoaks is a registered charity and is a affiliated to the The Arts Society. Our Society has a long tradition of working to benefit our community. We engage with the community in and around Sevenoaks by funding art and music projects in local schools. Our members volunteer in local projects connected with the arts and heritage.
